Refunds and Cancellation
Cancelling
Cancel at any time. You keep the paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.
Cancelling does not delete your data. If you want that too, delete the account separately — see Privacy.
Refunds
- Within 7 days of a first subscription: full refund, no questions, for any
reason.
- After 7 days: we refund the unused whole months of an annual plan if you
ask. Monthly plans are not refunded part-way through a month.
- If we broke it: if a fault on our side meant reminders did not work for a
material period, tell us and we will refund that period whether or not the window has passed. You should not pay for a reminder service that did not remind you.
Write to hello@drbell.app. We aim to process refunds within 7 working days.
Bought through an app store
If you subscribed inside the iPhone or Android app, Apple or Google took the payment and only they can refund it. Their process:
- Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com
- Google: play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions
We cannot refund a store purchase, but tell us anyway — if it was our fault we want to know.
Organisations
Care home and hospital contracts are annual and set out their own terms. Seats removed part-way through a term are credited at the next renewal rather than refunded.
Downgrading
Your data is never deleted because you downgraded. If a lower plan allows fewer caregivers than you currently have, nobody is removed — you simply cannot add more until you are back under the limit. Your history stays; the report window may shorten.
